Who could prepare the bags to travel to Barcarrota (Badajoz) next Sunday, the 25th to attend the III Iberian Pork Gastronomic Contest. The lucky ones who come will enjoy a day full of activities with gastronomy as the main theme and with tastings that do nothing but put on long teeth.
There will be free tastings prepared by great chefs who will combine haute cuisine with the traditional one, among them is Antonio Carrasco, from the Hebe restaurant, Paco Blanco from “La Toja” or Fernando Bárcena de Albedarán. In addition, you can see how they make the crumbs, the gazpacho, the chickpea and various dishes with live Iberian pork, for which they will facilitate a large screen. The little ones who come to the event will be able to participate in the bread workshop, and for the senior centers there will be popular gastronomic competitions. They will also hold talks with restaurateurs, a pastry contest, a sausage cake tasting, a cake with more than 2,000 portions and among the novelties highlights the delivery of the I Gastronomic Award "Encina de Plata" to the D.O. Extremadura pasture, which will reward professionals who promote Iberian Extremadura. Need we say a lot about him?
